Dry eye can cause a multitude of issues, including blurred vision, pain, and sensitivity to light. At South Coast Optometric Group, we can assess the type of dry eye that you may have, rule out potential causes, and recommended in-office and at-home treatment to help improve your dry eyes.
Not all corneas are made equal. Some corneas are too irregular for “normal” soft contact lenses. These soft contact lenses may be uncomfortable, or fail to achieve adequate vision. At South Coast Optometric Group, we can design custom lenses for any cornea, to help achieve the best possible vision for your eyes.
Glaucoma, also known as the “silent thief of vision” is a disease that can cause vision loss and blindness by damaging a nerve in the back of your eye called the optic nerve. We routinely screen for glaucoma in comprehensive exams, but can also treat and manage those who are diagnosed with glaucoma
We can help you find the correct fit and prescription for your comfort and vision needs, and provide various options and brands to select from.
We provide screening for all eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic-related eye diseases to maintain eye health and wellness.
Maintain optimal vision sharpness, detect eye conditions or other serious health conditions.
We are here to help.

” Eye Care for Eyes”
Although we study the ins and outs of a little eyeball for four years, I do believe our body is one big unit and my focus is going to be all of YOU and your overall well being.
I graduated from University of Minnesota, YES I LIVED IN MINNESOTA, with a Bachelors in Biology. After my undergraduate life was completed, I moved more east to experience the warmth of Florida. I had a wonderful 4 years and was granted my Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. I decided then to move to CA because of its climate and my family.
I have been very fortunate to start my practice in an Ophthalmology practice in Ventura county, CA, where I got to work with a fabulous group of Lasik and Cataract and Retinal surgeons where I gained a world of experience. I then moved to OC to be near my family and worked in different optometry offices, but my main goal has always been to be in my own private practice. I am ecstatic to be able to work at “South Coast Optometric Group” and call it home. I can now truly serve my community with all the knowledge I have gained in my optometry career in a private setting.
Besides optometry, I am a sports enthusiast and love to be outdoors. I play beach volleyball, despite being vertically challenged. I love to run outside and ride my road bike to the beach. I am fortunate to be able to spend the rest of my free time with my family and friends. I love to travel and see the world, I learn from different cultures and try to apply them to my daily life.
One of my passions is to volunteer my time in optometric missions where we give gifts of sight to underprivileged communities including recent trips to Nicaragua and Vietnam. .
